MEDICARE PART D PRESCRIPTION DRUG BENEFIT PROGRAM MANAGER POSITION
Rx Recruiters is now recruiting for a pharmacist manager to oversee the Medicare part D prescription drug benefit of a major national PBM (pharmacy benefit manager). As the leader of a multi-disciplined team consisting of the formulary committee (composed of pharmacists, doctors, and a government liaison), the manager will repot directly to the vice president of the organization. The pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing the entire implementation and operation of a proposed Medicare approved prescription benefit plan. REQUIREMENTS: Extensive management experience - preferably with a PBM or in-house retail pharmacy benefit manager. Strong business and management skills. Must have effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; and strong leadership skills. Ability to gather, analyze, and make decisions based on data. Ability to multitask.
